Pass the Bricks Fundraiser
In early March, the Oakland County Foster Closet in Farmington Hills had a fundraiser, where people could donate their used Legos to be washed and repackaged. The Rollin' Rebels, our middle school robotics team at Larson Middle School, wanted to contribute. With support from our principal Mr.Z, we launched a school-wide challenge: the lunch period that collected the most Legos would win a device day. Altogether, we collected over 20,000 Legos, with C lunch taking the win. All Legos were delivered that same week.

St. Anastasia Clothing Drive
In the fall of 2024, our team the Rollin' Rebels took part in a clothing drive hosted by St. Anastasia Church in Troy, Michigan. We helped donate clothes, package and tape the boxes shut, and then load everything onto a truck. The truck was set to deliver the donations to homeless shelters across Michigan.

Inspiring Future Innovators: Robotics Team Showcase at Hill Elementary
Our robotics team hosted a showcase at Hill Elementary in Troy, Michigan, where we demonstrated our competition robot and shared our experiences with the elementary students. We encouraged them to get involved in robotics, as 5th graders are eligible to join our team in the future.
